Q: What is the best way to book an Justfish trip?
We can book your Fishing Charter by calling us at 340-201-9329. You can also go to the website and go to “book now” and fill out the information form.
Q: Does Justfish offer activities other than fishing?
No
Q: Is St. Thomas pickup available?
Yes we can do a pickup in Redhook at American Yacht Harbor but there will be a fee of $70 witch is paid to the dock master directly.
Q: What are payment options?
We accept visa, MasterCard, travelers checks, cash payments. Cash gratuities for the crew are appreciated.
Q: What if weather causes a cancellation of my trip?
If weather causes us to not be able to go fishing and there is no other day we can get you in before you go there will be no charge to your credit card.
Q: What is cancellation policy?
We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you no call no show then you will be charged full price of your trip.
Q: Are children welcome aboard?
Yes. Definitely. We love to have children aboard and show them a wonderful time. If you have children under the age of 12 years old, you will have to provide life jackets. The ones provided on the boat are coast guard certified and not comfortable to fish in. If you have any questions just call us. Thanks
Q: Can I go on an charter if I know nothing about fishing?
Of course. Our experienced crew and captain will make sure you feel comfortable and know just how to have a wonderful day and best experience.

Q: How many people can go on a fishing charter?
Justfish is U.S. Coast Guard -licensed to take up to 6 passengers.
Q: What time do charters depart?
Morning trip leaves at 7:30 and the afternoon trips are around 12 or 2pm.
Q: Is there a bathroom on the boat?
Yes there is a full head in the galley.
Q: Tell me about the captains who will take me fishing.
Captain Josh was born and raised on the bayous of south Louisiana. He has been Fishing his entire life with over 15 years experience in the waters of the Virgin Islands. Captain Josh has won and placed in several of the many local tournaments in the Virgin Islands including Marlin, Mahi and wahoo tournaments. He really lives to fish; it’s his number one passion.

Q: What is included in a fishing trip?
Bait and tackle. You can keep 25lbs of fish that you catch. U.S. coast guard safety equipment.

Day of Charter FAQs
Q: Do I need a fishing license?
All guests are covered under Justfish.
Q: Will I get sea sick on a fishing trip?
If your are one to get motion sickness it’s always best to be safe then sorry and take a motion sickness medicine the night before and 30 min prior to trips departure.
Q: If I catch a fish, can I take it back to my resort?
Yes. You can keep up to 25lbs of what you catch. There are some restaurants on island that will cook your fish for you. All billfish are catch and release only.
Q: Can Justfish clean the fish I catch?
Yes we will clean and filet the fish right there for you on the boat when we return from our day of fishing.
Q: Can I mount my catch?
Yes you can. We would love to help you get your trophy fish mounted. We partner with Grey Taxidermy that’s been in business for over 50 years.
